The lights come on, the pumpkins glow, and the whole farm settles into one of our favorite parts of October.
Come early and spend the afternoon exploring, or stay late and see the Great Bakersfield Pumpkin Patch at night.
We’re open every day in October at the Big Red Barn.

If you’re coming to the Pumpkin Patch hungry, we’ve been preparing for you.
The bakery is loaded with pies, brownies, cookies, bars, breads, and plenty of other treats for the ride home.
Or for the parking lot.
We’re not judging.

This may be the most October thing we’re serving. Pumpkin ice cream between two snickerdoodle cookies. Our Snickerdoodle and Pumpkin Ice Cream Sandwich is cold, cinnamon-sweet, and about as fall as dessert can get.
Available Friday through Sunday only at the Great Bakersfield Pumpkin Patch.
Come grab one while you’re here this weekend.

This is the kind of October weather we wait all year for.
The afternoons are cooling down, the sun is sitting a little lower, and the farm is just about perfect for wandering through the sunflowers, picking out a pumpkin, and staying until the lights come on.

The Great Bakersfield Pumpkin Patch is open Friday through Sunday from 1 PM to 10 PM, so you can come out in the afternoon, stay through sunset, and enjoy the farm after dark.
Weekend admission:
- Ages 2–4: $10.99
- General Admission: $21.99
- Super Admission: $29.99
- Ages 1 and under: FREE
Every paid admission includes a free pumpkin to take home, and Super Admission includes 100 paintball shots.
Bring the family, ride the rides, explore the farm, grab your pumpkin, and make a day of it at the Big Red Barn.
