We've had a wonderful time this past week getting to know Mel Eliason and enjoying her amazing sourdough baked goods and food while she hangs with us on the farm. Mel and her husband Thomas are moving to the area and starting a farm and bakery business soon, so keep your ears open.

We're feeling a lot of empathy for our fruit farmers this season, the season Gillian Welch's song "One More Dollar" hits home. Hang in there friends. We're all cheering for a super el nino winter.

A warm March caused peach trees to bud earlier. Then the freeze came in April.
