The sunshine has everyone smiling around here lately! ☀️🐾🌱

Our pollinators have been busy buzzing around the chive blooms, the pigs have been soaking up the warm weather, Mama Kitty has claimed the swing set as her favorite lounging spot, Lilly the farm dog is making her rounds, and the chickens are enjoying fresh treats straight from the garden.

There’s just something special about seeing all the animals enjoying the simple joys of farm life. ❤️

🎙️ We had a wonderful time joining Rich Spicer on Cadillac Unscripted to talk about Farm to Home, food security, local agriculture, and why access to fresh food matters.

What started as a simple idea—connecting local farmers directly with local families—has grown into a program that delivers fresh, locally grown food right to people’s doorsteps while supporting the farmers who grow it.

We talked about the importance of education, community partnerships, and building systems that make healthy food more accessible for everyone. We also had the chance to share how grateful we are for the incredible support we’ve received along the way.

To every customer, farmer, volunteer, sponsor, class attendee, follower, and supporter: thank you. You have helped prove that local food isn’t just a trend—it’s a movement.

Every basket delivered, every meal shared around a family table, and every dollar spent locally helps strengthen our community and supports the people growing food right here at home.

Come see the animals, tour the gardens, hang out underneath the apple tree and enjoy some awesome local vendors.

We do have room for a few more vendors if you’re interested just send us a message! We are also looking for a few musicians too for some live music!🎶

Spinach season is here and we are loving every fresh leafy bite! 🌱💚

Spinach is packed with vitamins, iron, antioxidants, and nutrients that help support healthy bodies and strong immune systems. Plus it’s one of the easiest greens to enjoy in so many ways!

Some of our favorite ways to use spinach:
🥗 Fresh salads
🧄 Sautéed with garlic and butter
🍓 Blended into smoothies
🍕 Added to pizza, pasta, soups, and omelets
🧀 Mixed into dips or casseroles

Want to preserve it? Spinach freezes wonderfully! Just blanch it quickly, cool it, squeeze out the extra water, and freeze for soups, smoothies, and cooked dishes later on. You can also dehydrate it and blend into a powder for smoothies or seasoning mixes.
