Corn season is almost here and the fields are looking fantastic! 🌽

Steve has been out in the cornfields this week, checking on the crop and watching the progress firsthand. It’s an exciting time of year as all the hard work, dedication and care begin to pay off. With strong growth and promising conditions, the season is off to a great start.

Farmers never stop watching the weather, and today we’re smiling.

Yesterday we planted the first of many pumpkin seeds and when we say many, we mean LOTS of them! Over the next few months these tiny seeds will grow into the pumpkins that fill our front porch!

Say hello to my sister Bianca from Switzerland 🇨🇭❤️

She’s here with us for a few days before things get real crazy at the farm again. Always a good reminder that no matter how busy life gets, FAMILY is everything.

We laugh, we catch up and yes… I still get to brag that my little sister made it all the way from Switzerland to hang out with us

We’ve already taken her on the bike trail, out for best wings, to the Pittsburgh art festival and of course through the Ambrose greenhouse 😊

So where do we take her next to see the real country life? 🌾🚜

We can’t wait to visit her in Switzerland again this winter. ❤️

🌸 Zinnias are in the ground! 🌸

Everyone’s favorite photo shoot is growing. 🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌻

Just 5–6 weeks until we open! We don’t have an official opening date yet, as everything depends on the growth of the corn and tomatoes. Mother Nature is in charge, and right now we’re hoping for some much-needed rain. 🌽🍅🌧️

Until then, we’ll keep watering, watching and waiting for the fields to do their magic. Stay tuned for updates 🌽🍅 we can’t wait to share the fruits of labor with you all! 💕🌸
