🦌 Door County was down 9.38% during the 9-day gun-deer hunt year to date. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources released their preliminary data this morning and Door County saw 2,221 registered deer harvested this year compared to 2,451 last year.

Door County took 1,079 bucks and 1,142 does in ‘25.

In 2024, Door County saw 1,153 bucks and 1,298 does registered.

Kewaunee County had a total of 1,629 deer registered this year including 716 bucks and 913 does.

We have lots of options for your venison! Some of the most popular choices are summer sausage, snack sticks, jerky, hot dogs, bologna, bacon, burger, and more!

Stick flavors- Mild, hot, cheddar jalapeño, honey bbq, kickin’ bourbon.

Jerky flavors- Original, Teriyaki, Sweet and Hot.

Summer sausage- Original, garlic, cheddar, cheddar jalapeño.

Over 60 flavors of brats.

We saw some pretty nice ones with opening day today! Our normal operating hours for deer drop off during gun season are 8-6. We are closed on Thanksgiving. 9420 Cemetery Road Brussels

It’s been a great weekend for hunters! Congrats to all successful hunters that have punched their archery tag so far this year, and good luck to those still grindin’ it out!

With gun season approaching, here are a few reminders. We will be at our processing facility in Brussels (9420 Cemetery Road) with the orange Venison Processing sign at the end of the driveway. During gun season, you don’t need to call ahead. We will be out there every day except for Thanksgiving.

Some of the services we offer include: skinning, caping, cutting, vacuum sealing, grinding hamburger, sausage making, and more!

It is required that all deer that are brought in are already field dressed.
