Cycle Brookfield stepped up to sponsor student participation in our 4th Annual Chili & Pie Competition, helping us open the competition to the next generation of Brookfield cooks and bakers.

Giving students the chance to compete isn’t just about chili or pie. It’s about encouraging them to try something new, be proud of what they create and become part of the community events happening right here in Brookfield.

One of the things we are most proud of at the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce is the opportunity we have to work with the young people in our community.

Last fall, a marketing group came out to meet with us and some of our Young Entrepreneurs after seeing what this program was all about. They were so impressed by these kids, their ideas, and the opportunities being created for them that they wanted to help tell their story. We recently received the video they created, and it reminded us just how special this part of our Chamber has become.

But our investment in local teens goes beyond the Young Entrepreneurs selling at the Farmers Market. Each week, our market and community events are supported by a work team made up largely of local teens. They arrive early, work hard, help vendors, interact with the community, learn responsibility, solve problems, and experience firsthand what it takes to make these events happen.

Whether they are behind a booth selling something they created themselves or working alongside our Chamber team, they are learning skills that will stay with them long after the season ends.They aren't just helping us build a better market or a better event.

We are giving them a place to learn, work, create, build confidence, and become part of their community. And we think that's something worth investing in.

Come meet the heroes who help keep Brookfield safe!

Join us at the Brookfield Farmers Market this Saturday, September 26th from 8 AM–1 PM for a special morning with the Brookfield Police & Fire Departments!

Meet our local first responders, check out police equipment, learn about the department’s drone, grab some giveaways and see what our Police and Fire Departments have planned for the morning.

Brookfield Police will also have a limited number of FREE car seats available for families in need, along with a sign-up for certified car-seat installations at a later date.

We had a short but sweet time at this year’s Brookfield Farmers Market! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and joined in on the fun.

Our goal is simple: support local businesses and create a fun, family-friendly destination every Saturday morning for visitors from near and far.

On Opening Day, we welcomed more than 1,700 visitors and 75 four-legged friends to the market! We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our farmers, vendors, and community.

Be sure to visit our Young Entrepreneurs Market in the grass, where youth ages 16 and under are putting their business ideas into action, learning valuable skills, and showcasing their creativity.
