Did you know the Brookfield Farmers Market is home to one of the most unique programs in Illinois?

Our Young Entrepreneurs Program gives kids under 16 the opportunity to run their own business at the market for all 21 weeks of the season. This is our third season of this successful program, and it continues to grow each year.

Participants can sign up for as many market dates as they would like, giving them the flexibility to build, test, and grow their business in a real world setting.

They are creating, building, learning, and showing up just like every other vendor. This is real experience, real confidence, and real community support in action.

We are proud to be the only market offering a program like this at this scale.

These young entrepreneurs are not just participating, they are building something of their own.

Applications are still open and we are currently accepting young entrepreneurs for the upcoming season.

Make sure to stop by, shop small, and support the next generation of entrepreneurs.
