After a rough😥 looking Friday the weather for this Saturday's Bristol Open Air Market is looking good😉. Again, we are looking at over 30 vendors joining us for the 5th market day of the season. As before we have some new vendors joining us. Just a reminder, vendors please arrive prior to 9:00am for set up and check-in prior to setting up. Lastly, market hours are from 10:00am to 2:00pm and vendors are asked to please stay until the end. There have been a few vendors who picked up and left early the last two Saturdays leaving empty spots. If you plan on leaving early due to pre- arrangement or unplanned circumstances, please let me know ( or who ever is running the market for this day) prior to, DO NOT just pick up and leave. As for weather related this will be handled on the day of the market and vendors will be given the option to leave, again please contact me ( or whoever is running the market for that day) before planning on leaving. Again, DO NOT just leave without informing me or the person running the market for the day).

Well the weather did not disappoint us, other then a few quick short rain showers todays market weathered pretty nicely. Rounding out the market we had 31 vendors showcasing their items. The weather also did not dampen the market goers as they showed their support with a steady stream to see what the market had to offer. The Bristol Open Air Market continues to grow, with that more changes are to come as we are looking to making the Bristol Open Air Market a destination stop for the Newfound Area each Saturday from mid May to mid October. Again would like to thank all the vendors and market goers for supporting the Bristol Open Air Market and the Bristol Lions Club.

Happy Friday😉Just a day away from Bristol Open Air Market #4. We currently have 35 vendors who plan on attending and so far the weather is looking good. Looking at mid 70's and partly cloudy. Perfect market day for all you market goers. Along with our full time and regular part time vendors, again we have a few new vendors looking to show case their items. So come out and support these local vendors and support the Bristol Open Air Market. Just a reminder, all vendor fees go directly to the Bristol Lions Club our sponsor. You can also help the Bristol Lions club by dropping off unwanted or old proscription eye glasses for their "Recycle for Sight" program. Look for the white and blue Ford Ranger parked along the river and drop them off. Again would like to thank the Town of Bristol for allowing the use of Mill Stream Park for hosting the market.

Another market update🤔First would like to thank Bristol DPW for filling the holes at Mill Stream Park😉. There are still some minor issues but most of the major ones have been taken care of. Also, I have marked the other hazards with orange paint. This morning I spent time marking out vendor space locations with orange paint. All spaces are now 12ft wide with room behind your tent for parking along the river and down the hill of the parking lot. Also, I have left some room for some parking along the sidewalk for vendors who choose to park their cars there. Since all spaces are the same width now, locations have shifted either to the right or left a bit. By rearranging the spaces all are uniform, and in some kind of alignment. By marking out the spaces I hope I have taken care of some concerns that vendors were having being blocked by other vendors or issues getting to their space. I hope this layout takes care of that concern. For this Saturday's market before you go to your space please see me to be sure you are in the right location. Lastly, there will be orange cones for each entrance to the vendor parking, this will help guide you. I will be there at 7:00am for all other vendors please be there by no later then 9:00am for set up.

Market update for Saturday June 6th:: As of today we are full. Vendors, full and part time, if you have not indicated on your application or contacted me on dates you plan on attending to include June 6th and has not been listed there is a good chance you will not have a space. If not sure if you are on the list you can contact me and confirm. Vendors, due to a large amount of vendors and parking limitations please arrive before 9:00am this Saturday so any issues can be taken care of early. If you had indicated that you were attending and are planning on not coming please contact me by Thursday as we have new vendors looking to attend and are on a waiting list.
We do have some updated news, as we out grow our current space we are looking at moving to a new location. We were looking at next year but with the growing interest in the market we are looking at moving possibly later on this season. More to come.

Well today's market was a day of experiencing Fall, Winter, and early Spring all within 3 hours. For the 9 vendors plus me who had the pleasure to weather this Thank You for hanging in there. It was at times a challenge, setting up was wet, cold and windy and at time just plain miserable. At around 11:00 am things calmed down, the rain stopped and the sun poked through here and there making for the last few hours to be a little more enjoyable. Once the weather cleared we had market goers arrive to shop, and we would like to thank them. As it was not one of the better weather days for the market we still have18 more Saturdays to go and hope the weather is a lot more cooperative.

Weather Update for Saturday's Market 5/30/26:: Right now the weather for Saturday is rainy☔ with winds🌬️ 15-20mph possible and temperatures in the mid 50's.😒not your summer weather😒. So dress for the weather, dress warm, dress for the rain and buckle down your tents. Again this is a rain or shine event, but up to vendors if they choose to attend or not and I understand. If you plan on not attending at all just let me know if not see you Saturday. I will be there as normal😉
