The Wednesday Word! ✝️

I have come to enjoy watching birds. We also have discovered the Merlin app which will listen to the song of a particular bird and identify it. As we get excited when a new bird appears on the list, I try not to forget the awe and wonder of God in it.

First, He created countless types of birds each with unique coloring and song. But this verse in Matthew often comes to mind also as a reminder of how He wants to provide for us. I know this is an area of my own life I have struggled to surrender but as I do, I find such peace and joy in my life. This verse is a powerful truth and reminder of just how well cared for we are 🩷

“Steko” means to stand firm, persevere and keep one’s standing. That is precisely what our children need to learn to do in the world we live in today. We had the pleasure of being present for (and some participation in 😉) a fundraising mud run for Steko Ministries out of Hinsdale, NY.

Their mission is to prepare and equip the next generation. They are inspiring others to put on the full armor of God, fight the good fight of the faith, stand firm on truth, and share the Gospel.
