Liz Glass and Chris Meyer opened Lake Street Market in May 2004, and turned what was once a summer-only deli into a year-round destination for gourmet sandwiches and soups, fresh salads, great pizzas, and hand-cut steaks. They also offer a variety of cheeses, specialty foods, beers and wines.

As usual, Nation, we have some delicious stuff happening down here on South Lake Street! The new Cobb Salad has really hit its stride, packed full of great proteins and already seeing repeat customers. The same is true of our newest sandwich: Kaila Kuhn's bFFF, created by and named for our hometown Olympic gold medalist. (And btw make sure to grab one of our new shirts, the back of which immortalizes every sandwich we've ever had--including Kaila's!) We have lasagna in the cooler. We'll have Swedish Meatballs after 3. We have prime New York Strips, with Ribeye ready to cut. And Strawberry Rhubarb pie is back!

It's another gorgeous day in SoBo, Nation! Here are some of the things you'll find at the store in addition to what's on the regular menu: Burrata, which is fresh mozzarella filled with cream-soaked shredded mozzarella. The year's first batch of t-shirts and hoodies, fully up to date with the "Kaila Kuhn's bFFF" on the back and a nod to some important anniversaries. Prime grade, fresh-cut New York Strips and Ribeyes. Chicken Parmesan. Beef Pot Pie. Beef Goulash. Cobb Salad. And loads of cool and delicious goods on the shelves. See you here!

Nation, we have lots of good stuff down here today. The new Cobb Salad is doing well. So is our latest addition to the sandwich menu: Kaila Kuhn's bFFF, developed and authorized by our own hometown Olympic gold medalist! Her signature sandwich is listed with all the others on the back of our new Tshirts and hoodies that just came in yesterday. In the cooler we have Chicken Parmesan, Beef Pot Pie, and prime New York Strip and Ribeye. Beef Goulash after 3!

Sorry for the lack of updates, Nation! Here's all the off-menu news for today. We just got summer's first delivery of shirts, and they are super cool. We chose red and blue this year to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. (The 22nd of Lake Street Market is also noted.😉) Be sure to check out the sandwich lineup on the back, which now includes our newest one: Kaila Kuhn's bFFF. Oh aaaaand we ordered heavy duty, 80% cotton full-zip hoodies too. Be among the first to sport some of this great merch!
And now for what's in the coolers: Prime New York Strip and Ribeye. Lasagna. Chicken Parmesan. The seasonal return of our Redskin Potato Salad. After 3 we'll have Beef Pot Pie!

I've spent the last two mornings cutting steaks, Nation--and we have some beautifully marbled, prime New York Strips and Ribeyes ready for your grill. Call us at 231-582-4450 if you'd like us to wrap some up before you get here! On the other end of the cooler we have Stuffed Peppers, Pesto Chicken, Chicken Parmesan, and our new Lake Street Cobb salad. Redskin Potato Salad is back for the summer. So are Ethan and Kaydence!

Nation, we have a new salad making its debut today: the Lake Street Cobb! Mixed greens loaded with chicken breast, Nueske bacon, avocado, hard-boiled egg, cheddar, tomato, and red onion, with a large side of our house-made ranch dressing. At $15.50, research suggests this is the best deal in the north for a high-quality, protein-packed salad. ;-)
In regular news, we have Swedish Meatballs, Mac & Cheese, and Prime Ribeye in the cooler. We have New York Strip ready to cut as soon as somebody asks. And we'll have Pesto Chicken after 3!
