Bowen Family Farm We operate a small farm and farm store where we produce, process, and sell pasture raised non GMO chicken and woodland raised pork.

Order online and pickup at our farmstand or stop by to shop! We practice regenerative agriculture. We specialize in raising and processing pasture raised poultry, pastured eggs, baked goods from scratch, and also woodland raised pigs. Our Pasture Raised Poultry: At Bowen Family Farm, we own one of only six Poultry Exempt chicken processors in the state of Georgia. This allows us to butcher and sell 20,000 birds per year and sell them right off of our farm! Our chickens are raised on grass and supplemented with high protein feed from a local feed mill. They are moved daily onto fresh grass. Our Woodland Raised Pork: We also raise woodland raised pork. Our pigs are trained to single strand electric fencing. They are moved throughout the wooded acreage on our property to new paddocks every week. They get to do what pigs were meant to by rooting up grubs, worms, and various bugs that they would naturally eat in the wild. This also disturbs the soil waking up seedbeds allowing a variety of plants to grow in the area that the pigs rooted. Our goal is not only to sell healthy, natural meat but also to document our experience in raising these animals. Please contact us if you have any questions or interest in our products.

FRESH NEVER FROZEN GROUND BEEF IN STOCK!

We just picked up 100 lbs of FRESH ground beef from Potts Bros Farm and have it in our store!

It will go in the freezer tomorrow!

We have added 3 new bundles to our website including

5 lb ground beef (1 lb per pack)

10 lb ground beef (1 lb per pack)

And a Sausage Sampler which includes one of each of the sausage flavors we offer!

Our ground beef is 80/20, grass-fed, grass-finished, 21 day dry aged, and raised and processed by the same farm!

For the deals, order online and pickup in store!

We will also be mixing more Ancestral Ground Beef soon!

This will be made of ground chicken parts including nutrient dense organs and we will grind it with veggies to make sure your dog gets plenty of fiber.

This will be made from our non gmo, soy free, unvaccinated, pasture-raised chickens.

We raise every bit of pork and chicken that is in our stores.

We process 100% of the chicken that is in our store.

Our pork and beef is processed locally. Our beef is also raised by the same people who process it.

We have BBQ Sauces in store that are made by a truly local veteran.

The claims we make about our products are 100% true and leave no questions about what you're buying.

Our Pasture Raised Chicken is raised in the pasture and our Woodland-Raised Pork is raised in the woods.

Everything in our store is either made or grown by us or comes from local farmers and makers within 60 miles of our farm.

Today we moved our last batch of chickens onto pasture! We found a bird in one of the chicken tractors so Hunter had to come get it out.

We will see y'all tomorrow at the Barrow County Farmers Market! Stop by and pickup pork and chicken!

Also, if you are one of our customers that visits our stand at the market or just live in the area and would like to continue to get meats between the market season, please send us a text with your name and email. We want to be sure to keep you stocked up throughout the winter and plan to do 1 or 2 drops per month in Winder.

The boys have been working with Ike this year on tracking wounded deer. We have done this for years but kind of fell off last year.

This was his first track of the year and he made short work of it. I'm proud of the boys for working with him.
