Thank YOU Bowdoinham! We had a great season and a fantastic Thanksgiving Market. Thanks for taking the time to come to the park and town hall, and bring the things we make and grow to your tables. Seeing familiar faces from market throughout the winter makes for wonderful community and new friendships. Big thanks to the Town of Bowdoinham for the public spaces to make all that magic happen. Especially now the stellar renovation of the town hall! Here’s to another 200 years!

Thanksgiving Farmers’ Market!
Saturday, November 22nd, 8:30-12:00 at the newly renovated town hall at 11 School Street in Bowdoinham. Tasty food, cool stuff for your table and check that renovation!

Blue Bell Farm Maine will be there with lots of your classic veggies like carrots, onions, radishes, winter squash and salad greens, plus some treats from neighboring farms: ginger, turmeric, sunchokes, sweet potatoes from Stonecipher. Kimchi and Sauerkraut from Tender Soles. Specials on garlic, and plenty of parsley, cilantro and dill.

Hi everyone! It's the next to last market this weekend!

We've got the basics for you this weekend:
Pleasant Pond Orchard with fresh brewed Big Barn Coffee to start your morning. Galettes will be apple, same as last week but different apple varieties so, you know, different.

Counterpoint Bread with Miche, Olive Khorasan, Khorasan, Baguettes, Croissants and Kouign Amann, Goat Cheese and Onion Danishes, Focaccia, Walnut Chocolate-Chunk Cookies.

Blue Bell Farm Maine has all your salad greens, carrots, eggplants, tomatoes, onions etc. etc. No need to turn on the heat yet; bake a squash! (or two!). Pick up your dual purpose heating & eating squash like: pie pumpkins, honey bear acorn squash, delicata, and now baby butternut.

Maggie's Farm at Mulberry Creek back from their adventures! They brought the rain home with them, and have been baking up a storm and have the usual dairy goodies.

Return of the Bumbleweed! Assorted dry loose herbal teas, Organic rose petals & hips, Organic Calendula petals. Hello friends! We're back in the park this Saturday 8:30-12:00.
We hope everyone had a fantastic time celebrating in Bowdoinham last weekend. Everything you need to scheme up a local meal can be found in the park Saturday.

Fiore Olive Oils and Vinegars has a new blueberry, lemon and a cherry balsamic. (just add seltzer for a tasty shrub) Their olive oils make a delicious highlight for your market produce (and breads, and meats, and,.,). Come in and taste for yourself!

Blue Bell Farm Maine will have piles of peppers. Flats of bulk tomatoes are ready for sauce and lots of salad makings too. Some absurdly gorgeous eggplant too. They have what you need for eggplant parm! (minus the parm)

The Rounded Pig has the usual cuts of pork. Tasty cuts for a feature, or a side or sandwiches and more. Hmm, sausage peppers & onions sound good?

Shac Forge will be there fresh off the Celebrate Bowdoinham lot. This week there is the usual supply plus a couple grill tools. (to cook all your delicious meats and veggies!) Luke Shirshac

Grampas Woodshed will be there . He's been working in the toy shop. Come by and say hello.

Hello friends! Another great market with seasonal goodies, special treats and coffee!
Saturday 8:30-12:00 down by the river.

Come sign up for the Chicken Run! 5K or 1-Mile Fun Run. The Bowdoinham Farmers' Market is one of the sponsors of this great event that benefits the community school. Bowdoinham 5K Chicken Run & Kids Fun Run

Run on over to Fiore Olive Oils and Vinegars, they'll have a new dark balsamic. Come in and try Amarena cherry balsamic. Wonderful flavor, great drizzled on pork chops or chicken or duck and really good with your fall salads.

Hold Fast Farm is bringing their Goat milk products, lamb, mutton, chicken, and beef while Maggie’s is away.

Counterpoint Bread is back! They'll have pain de mie, which is slightly sexier wonder bread.

The Rounded Pig will be there with Mangalitsa pork, goat meat, candles and dog treats! Need to make a BLT? They have a critical ingredient...

It's after Labor Day so Blue Bell Farm Maine can bring the winter squash with impunity! (if you bring it before, it's straight to Organic jail). As such, Delicata, Honey Bear Acorn Squash and pie pumpkins will make their seasonal appearance. They've got kimchi from Tender Soles too! Great on sandwiches, great straight out of the jar. Also plenty of eggplant, red peppers, and bulk flats of tomatoes.

Hello friends! Come on down to the waterfront park to gather goodies and kick off your Labor Day adventures. Saturday 8:30-12:00

Start off with some fresh brewed Big Barn Coffee at Pleasant Pond Orchard! Perfect to sip on with some tasty baked goods and stroll the market. They'll be selling 8oz cups but encourage you to bring your own and pour accordingly. The kitchen went a little nutz with the nuts last week, so the sweet galette will be fruit filled. Tomato, cheese, pesto (contains walnuts) in the savory galette.

Bring your labor day picnic table to the next level with Rooted Pig which has sunflowers, zinnias, and Dahlias as the stars of the bouquets this week.

Maggie's Farm at Mulberry Creek will have your goat cheese and bagels, beef for your labor day weekend grilling, and bread to go with it! This is our last Saturday until October so stock up! Our products freeze well.

Blue Bell Farm Maine will be slinging tomatoes, salsa kits, and salad fixins. New! Cayenne peppers clock in at over 30,000+ scoville units! (10x hotter than a jalapeno).

Counterpoint Bread will have some laminated honey rye as well as olive semolina loaves in addition to the standard fare.

Big doings at the market tomorrow and around town: Le Tour de Bowdoinham is going on! Thanks Town of Bowdoinham! Join in with a donation to the Bowdoinham Food Pantry Keep an extra eye out for cyclists on the road, who will all be departing and then converging at the park where we have tasty things to eat.

Keep on rolling with Pleasant Pond Orchard's selection of delicious cookies and pastries.
