Iโm writing this with happy tears in my eyes, and I really hope this reaches anyone else who has a dog struggling with severe anxiety or frustration.
When I brought my new Sheltie home, my heart broke for him. He was so overwhelmed and frustrated. He wouldn't engage, he paced constantly, and he ignored every single plushie, ball, and bone I bought him. It was like he didn't know how to be a dog. I spent weeks feeling completely helpless watching him just sit there looking sad and stressed out.

He carries it everywhere, wrestles with it, and his entire personality has blossomed. He is finally a happy, playful dog.
