* I originally posted this in 2021 but it all still rings true so it’s worth repeating!

🦐 The Camilla Ann will set out for her 15th season opener tomorrow! Can I be real for a minute? I was a little apprehensive when Nic wanted to get back into sh*****ng. Commercial fishing is so unpredictable in more ways than one. But let me tell you God has blessed and it has been one of the best decisions ever! We’re praying for all our family and friends who will be back at it tomorrow! May God bless!

The kids and I had an amazing time at Missions Camp this week! Lucas came home with 1st place in archery and 2nd place in BB gun shooting and of course he caught a lot of fish.
Camilla was a leader in training again this year and she put a lot of work in! We wouldn’t make it without our teen helpers! The Word was preached and kids accepted Jesus as their Savior and THAT is what it’s all about!

Today we’re doing last minute maintenance and prep on the Camilla Ann getting her ready for season 15!

Mobile Bay opens back up Monday at 6:00 AM for sh*****ng! 🦐

As always, sh*****ng is unpredictable and we’re never guaranteed anything. There has been a lot of rain lately and all the fresh water running into the bay will impact the shrimp. The moon phase plays a part too. There’s more to sh*****ng than just going out there and being able to come home with a load. We’re staying hopeful and going to give it a go and see what happens!

We still have frozen tails available in the meantime.

We had a wonderful turnout at our annual shrimpers and fishermen’s breakfast on Saturday! Truly thankful to everyone who helped and to all who came! We look forward to this event every year and can’t wait for the next one!

Our hours will vary this week. The kiddos and I are headed to Girls and Boy’s Mission Camp - formerly known as GA’s and RA’s. So it’s best to text first if you need shrimp!

Hey y’all!

Just an update since we haven’t posted in a while. We have been extremely busy lately doing ALL the things! Some of the biggest events of the year that we are a part of are all happening at the same time. We’re getting the boat ready for the opening of shrimp season and trying to squeeze in some family time along the way too!

June 1st is quickly approaching, but in the meantime we have frozen tails available!

Two for one post!

Nicholas had a stowaway on the boat last night!
He didn’t know our dog jumped in the truck until he got to the boat and he wasn’t bringing him home so he got to go on a cruise. We’re going to have to rename him Capt. P. He was covered in fish scales when he got home. 😆 Anyhow, they brought in another load of those beautiful XL shrimp!

‼️ Friday 4/24/26 update! We are SOLD OUT!! The boat will be back in tomorrow! Pick ups will be in the afternoon for Saturday because we have a prior engagement we have to attend in the morning. We are closed on Sunday. Thank y’all SO much for today!

PS if y’all thought I was joking last time about the Dr. Scholl’s inserts I absolutely was not! They were ordered today! 😆

We haven’t been everywhere yet but we’re on the way! Did you know our frozen shrimp travel very well? They do! As long as you keep ice on them you can bring them wherever you want!
