Destination Bolton works to update you on new businesses in Bolton. On that front, we want to welcome The Yoga Nook, a small yoga studio which will be opening above the Bolton Country Cupboard store at the end of November.

“I’m excited to announce the opening of The Yoga Nook on November 23rd in Bolton!” says owner Jackie Houde. “Please check out our flyer for more information about the classes we will be offering and our first class special. To find out more information about our studio and to register for classes please go to www.theyoganook.org

Jackie adds: “We highly recommend registering for classes online prior to the scheduled class as we are a small studio with a capacity of 10 students per class.”

If the Houde name sounds familiar, it is. Jackie’s husband Tim owns the Bolton Country Cupboard and Subway.

Jackie gave Destination Bolton a bit more on her background and what inspired her to open a yoga studio:

“I am a 200 RYT (registered yoga teacher), certified restorative yoga instructor and a level 2 Reiki practitioner. After almost a decade of teaching special education for the Boston and Worcester Public Schools, I left the profession to pursue my dream of opening a yoga studio. Yoga has changed my life in many profound ways, especially in managing my anxiety on a daily basis. This inspired me to open The Yoga Nook so I can help others experience the many benefits yoga has to offer.

As I begin this journey with The Yoga Nook my intention is to create a safe space for students to access the expansive & fulfilling benefits of yoga in ways that are meaningful to them and their individual needs. Our teachers will offer variations of poses so classes are accessible for all levels because yoga is for everybody.”
