Today we talk about our CHOCOLATE layers! These Black Tailed Red Marans lay the most beautiful, dark brown with a hint of red, eggs we’ve ever seen! 😍

We just love the colorful eggs that our hens lay! (The chocolate colored egg comes from a Maran. More on that one later)
But this little ball of fluff right here has the most adorable cheeks! This breed is called an Easter Egger breed and they will lay colors ranging from baby blue, to mint.

They look more vibrant in person and our customers tell us all the time that they love when they get those beautiful blues in their cartons 🐓❤️

We have a delivery service through Bloomington Farm & Feed where you place your order online and they will deliver it to your front door, the very next day, within a 20 mile radius of Bloomington. 🐓❤️

Our hens are fed MN grown feed which doesn’t have all the junk fillers that commercial feeds have and our customers will tell you that they can taste the difference. 🥰

Blu is my Chinese Crested goose and I adore him 😍 He is by my side when I'm working in the duck shack and chit chats with me the entire time 🥰 He's so handsome!!

Stock tank all cleaned out and a fresh bale spread out all over. Redoing duck nesting boxes in a little bit but I'm working on a special website project first ❤️
