Eta Aquariid Meteor Shower Peaks Tonight! ☄️

Tonight, the Eta Aquariid meteor shower will peak, filling the sky with bright, fast-moving meteors—one of the most beautiful displays of the year.

After midnight and into the early morning, you might spot up to 50 meteors every hour, each one a glowing streak born from ancient comet dust racing through our atmosphere at breathtaking speeds.

🌌 Viewing tips:
• Find a dark spot away from city lights
• Look toward the eastern horizon
• Give your eyes 15–20 minutes to adjust
• No telescope needed, just your eyes

Tag someone you’d watch this with! Don’t miss this breathtaking celestial event! ✨

You need a bucket with a very tight lid. If the lid isn't tight, you will not be able to sit out on your patio for a month. You take this one specific, deep-rooted w**d. You chop it up, cram it into the bucket, cover it with water, and let it rot. It will smell like absolute death. But four weeks later, that foul water becomes literal rocket fuel. You dilute it and pour it on your garden. That black sludge has the exact same nutrient profile as the expensive synthetic feeds sold in plastic jugs at the garden center, but it is completely free. Growers have been using this "stinky brew" for generations to force massive, heavy yields out of tomato plants. Everything you need is probably already growing nearby. You just need to know exactly which w**d to harvest.

Most people hear a pileated woodpecker for years before they see one. The hammering sounds like someone beating a dead tree with a bat.

Then she lands on a trunk ten feet away — and the reaction is always the same.

She's the size of a crow. Every other woodpecker at the feeder fits in your hand. Your brain builds a template from downies and hairies: woodpecker equals small. The pileated breaks the template.

The rectangular holes in dead trees are hers. No other woodpecker cuts that shape. And the cavity she drills for nesting becomes the most competed-over address in the woods after she leaves — species that can't excavate their own depend on the ones she abandons.

The dead tree she's working on is the most productive thing in the yard 🌿
