As we sit here in the heart of May, still navigating what the future holds for our 2026 apple crop, we continue to hear the same sentiment echoed from growers near and far—this spring’s freeze was unlike anything many have experienced in their lifetimes. Its reach was wide, its timing unforgiving, and its impact still unfolding.

Moments like these have a way of slowing you down. They invite reflection.

It got us thinking about our family… and the four generations who have walked these orchards before us. Each season—whether abundant or challenging—has been another chapter in a long story written in blossoms, branches, and harvest bins. A legacy not defined by any single year, but by the perseverance to keep growing, season after season.

Our family’s legacy lives in every harvest we’ve brought in—and just as importantly, in the years when nature had other plans. Because even in uncertainty, there is purpose. Even in loss, there is learning. And even now, there is hope.
