Seconds, anyone?

In the food system, seconds are the delicious foods that may get overlooked. Like the female protagonist before her makeover, or the book with the worn cover.

As soon as you look beyond the surface, you realize you've been missing a gem.

About 15-20% of produce is seconds, a significant portion of our food system. And, a significant source of flavor and nutrients.

The next time you speak with your local farmer (Thursday's weather is looking great for the Bexley Farmers' Market and the Bexley Natural Market is open every day of the week), ask about seconds... and ask if they can be sold to you at a discounted price!
