Check out more info about Belvoir Farms here!: https://belvoirfarm.co.uk/about-us/

Belvoir Farm was founded in 1984 by Mary and Peverel Manners to turn homegrown fruit and locally picked elderflowers into natural, premium cordials. Originally created in their farmhouse kitchen, the drinks were produced to turn a surplus of fruit into a profitable, high-quality, and natural, homemade alternative to mass-produced soft drinks. The proceeds go to funding the Belvoir Manner House.

How cool do these sound? Team UKG has stocked two new flavours of FollƔin's marmalade & jelly! The medium-cut (medium-sized bits of orange rind mixed in) whisky marmalade features the classic citrusy orange flavour combined with the potent Irish whisky! If you are looking for a more plain & traditional flavour, we'd suggest our second new FollƔin product, their blackcurrant jam is a nice and rich yet sweet option! No matter which you pick, they are both good options as the whisky marmalade won the Great Taste Award in 2018 the blackcurrant jam won the Great Taste Award in 2016!

Side Fun Fact: "FollƔin" means "Wholesome" in Irish Gaelic!

Skittles were originally invented in the United Kingdom during the 1960s and were originally called "Glees"! By the early 1970s, Skittles' new name was heavily inspired by an age-old game of the same name. Since then, they have become a timeless classic in both the United States and their home country.

The Skittles in the UK differ from their American counterpart in two ways. One way is the flavour (blackcurrant in the United Kingdom vs. grape in the United States). The other way is how each country sources its colouring ingredients. The UK's Skittles sources its colouring ingredients more naturally, by using fruits, vegetables, and roots (ie: beetroot, grapes, and turmeric in Fruits Skittles). The United States sources its colouring ingredients using artificial dyes.

Here are FIVE fun facts about Vimto!:
1. Invented in the year 1908 in Manchester, England by John Noel Nichols. He was only 25! For its eighty-fifth birthday, Kerry Morrison made a Vimto statue, located in its birth city!
2. At first, it was called Vimtonic!
3. Some of the first countries (outside of England) that Vimto was sold to were India and British Guyana
4. By 1970, Vimto was in the United States of America!
5. The recipe is a secret! So much so that only a few people in the world know it; very serious!

Some fun facts about each brand are:
1. Rowntree's hit a home run in 1879 when they hired Frenchman August Claude Gaget, who was responsible for inventing Fruit Pastilles AND Fruit Gums!
2. In 1983, Aero had a problem...There was a nasty heatwave, causing the chocolate to melt, thus no bubbles!
3. While Snickers were invented in the United States (and they were named after Frank & Ethel Mars' horse, Snickers), when they hit the United Kingdom in 1968, they were called Marathon because the people in charge thought Snickers was too close to the British slang for underwear, knickers 🤣!
