🍙 AN ONIGIRI POP-UP BAR AT TOMI MART?! YES PLEASE! 🍙

This is one we’ve been dreaming about for YEARS and we’re so excited it’s finally happening!

This Saturday, we’re welcoming Bend-O Bento, locally Japanese-owned since 2012, for a special made-to-order ONIGIRI POP-UP BAR! Owner Yuki and Leela will be here making fresh onigiri to order, including yaki onigiri (grilled rice balls)! 🍙🔥 And everything will be GLUTEN-FREE!

They’ll also be sharing some bento box inspiration, showing you how to put together your own bento using products from Tomi Mart! We’ve got plenty of bento-making supplies in stock, so you can grab everything you need to make your own at home. 🍱

But wait, there’s more!

🇵🇭 In honor of Filipino American History Month, we’ll also be joined by members of the Filipino American Association of the High Desert (FAAHD), who will be selling Filipino sweets and jewelry! We’re so happy to have them joining us for an afternoon of food, culture, and community.

Tomi and her Homies are here to say that May is Asian • Native Hawaiian • Pacific Islander Heritage Month

This is a time to honor and center the histories, perspectives, and voices that shape our community. Something we strive to do every day at Tomi Mart through community, culture, collaboration, and celebration and this month, we invite you to help bring that to life in a few extra ways:

🔸️In-store raffle featuring some of our favorite ANHPI brands
🔸️COCC Asian Cultures Club is our donations recipient this year

Donation money will come from a percentage of our May sales combined with every cent our customers choose to donate through rounding up their totals when they're checking out!
