This is exactly why when people ask us about Kune Kune pigs, our first question is always: What are you trying to achieve?

If your goal is maximum meat yield and a fast turnaround to the freezer, Kune Kunes are generally not the best choice. They grow slower and produce significantly less meat compared to traditional meat breeds.

However, if you’re looking for a more pasture-friendly pig that tends to be less destructive and don’t mind the lower meat yield, Kune Kunes can be a great fit. Many people enjoy them as a dual-purpose animal that falls somewhere between livestock and a pet.

There’s no right or wrong choice—it all depends on your goals as a pig owner.

Huge batch underway 💪🐖

We had the opportunity to process 14 pigs from Storm Acres Farm LLC for their customers, and this is what quality looks like laid out on the table.

From chops and ribs to shoulders and trim — every animal handled with care and processed the right way.

We appreciate Storm Acres trusting us to take care of their customers and their product. That kind of partnership means a lot to us.
