In the past two years I have assisted in the development of community activities for the seniors in the city of Prairie View to include Bone Density Test, Neighborhood Safety Awareness Workshops, and Annual Sr. Expo. I have also assisted with 1st joint organizational school supply drive, and this year I will be assisting with the Prairie View Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Field Days in which wi

ll be used as a fund raiser for the chamber. Currently in affiliation with the WCCAC and my business we are teaching Sr. Computer classes at the Waller County Library. I attend the weekly commissioners court meeting in order to help our commissioner lobby for the cities best interest . With your support as a City Council Member I will continue to assist with providing quality project in order to collectively continue the grown of the city.

I spoke on last evening at the City council meeting in regards to the Sandra Bland issue. I do not feel that it is appropriate for this predominately black town fights over the name of a street when we are not using the same zeal in pressing the issue with Waller County Detention center in which was the place of her demise. We as a community need to focus on the development of a stronger infrastructure to where we can combat the many nuances that plague our community. The plight in which the death of Sandra Bland is a tragedy. But we cannot dwell on the bad we must focus on what is positive.
Let's become proactive to where issue such as this will not happen again.
