Zero recalls on our meat.
And our produce still won’t give you exploding 💩

These types of recalls are getting ridiculous. And who is being held responsible??? No one!

I can’t imagine having to throw away or return this much food. It’s unacceptable. The food waste. The money waste. The literal waste of a life. It’s unethical.

There’s not much you can do about these things except to choose to purchase better food from trusted sources. To know your farmer and know where exactly your food was raised and grown. That’s why we do what we do! Because we understand that where you choose to spend your money and what you choose to feed your family really is a big deal. And we will never take that responsibility lightly!

The recalled products were manufactured over the past eight months and sold nationwide under 68 different product names. MORE BELOW ⬇️

Despite the weekend frost, we still have a great selection of fresh, locally grown produce available! Several items have been restocked, and we still have a good supply of:

💐 A Little Flower Update: Unfortunately, the frost has officially brought flower season to an end for Wild Blooms Farm. We won’t have any more fresh bouquets available this season, but we’re thankful for all the beautiful blooms they’ve shared with us!

🚗 Thursday, October 22 is our FINAL Woodhaven High School pickup and home delivery at 7 PM!

🏡 On-farm pickup continues through October 29 at 6 PM, with Friday morning pickup from 9 AM–12 PM through October 30.

Enjoy the harvest long after the season ends!

Did you know that many of the fresh foods we have available can be preserved and enjoyed for months to come?

🚨With only 2 regular market weeks left, now is a great time to think beyond this week’s meals and stock up for the colder months ahead!

🥖 Baked Goods – Many breads, bagels, and other baked goods freeze beautifully! Stock up now and enjoy them later.

🌶️ Peppers – Chop and freeze for soups, chili, casseroles, and sauces, or preserve them using a tested canning recipe.

🥕 Carrots – Great for freezing or pressure canning to enjoy throughout winter.

🥬 Kale – Blanch and freeze for smoothies, soups, and other recipes.

🌱 Microgreens – These tiny greens can pack a nutritional punch! Try dehydrating them at low temperatures and grinding them into a powder to add to smoothies, soups, or sauces. They can also be frozen for later use in cooked dishes.

🍎 Apples – Perfect for dehydrating into apple chips, making applesauce, or canning for winter.
