Strawberry season has officially arrived at the Beaverton Farmers Market 🍓✨ Local strawberries are sweeter, juicier, and infinitely better than the grocery store kind that taste like crunchy water. Stock up now for shortcake, jam, smoothies, or eating them straight over the sink like nature intended. Just don’t wash them until you’re ready to eat; these little divas like to stay dry. More on strawberries and new exciting recipes in this week's newsletter. Find on our website. See you at the market! ❤️

Garlic scapes are having their main character moment! Curly, whimsical, spiky, or straight, these flavorful stems taste like garlic’s fresher, greener cousin. Scapes are actually the flowering shoots of garlic, onions, and leeks—often trimmed away by farmers to help bulbs grow bigger. But at the farmers market? Nothing this delicious goes to waste. Grab them while they’re in season!
