Our farmers, bakers, brewers, and makers are getting into the Halloween spirit, and let’s just say... they’re not messing around.

We’re talking pumpkin EVERYTHING — pumpkin spice goat cheese, chai-spiced kombucha, Autumn blend sangria, spooky sweets, freshly baked treats, and a Midnight Matcha made with black sesame that turns your milk dark and speckled. 🖤🍵

And that’s just the beginning!

Add in gorgeous fall squash, pumpkins of every persuasion, crisp Hudson Valley apples, c***r, and all the glorious fall goodness our farmers are harvesting right now, and you’ve got yourself a pretty delicious Sunday.

CALLING ALL LITTLE MONSTERS! 👻🎃✨ Got a tiny ghost? A pint-sized pumpkin? A superhero who’s been itching to show off that costume?

Well, we’re trying something NEW this Halloween!

Introducing the BFM KIDS’ HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARADE! 🎉

This Sunday, we’re inviting all our little ghosts, goblins, princesses, superheroes, and creatures of every kind to show off their costumes with a festive stroll through the Beacon Farmers' Market

Leading our pint-sized parade? None other than Helen, Common Ground Farm Education Manager and Farm Camp Director! 💞

We’ll gather at the Manager’s Tent at 11:30 AM, then parade through the market while our farmers, makers, and shoppers cheer everyone on! 👏

🎶 DJ Stephen will be spinning spooky tunes from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM, so there’ll be plenty of music and Halloween spirit in the air!

Parents are welcome to walk alongside their little ones. No registration, no competition, no pressure — just costumes, community, and a whole lot of adorable.

So dust off those costumes, practice those monster walks, and come join the fun!

💚 And while you’re here, don’t forget to stop by the Manager’s Tent for your $4 in Teeny Greenys to spend on fresh, locally grown food!

WE’VE GOT A CRUSH ON HALLOWEEN! 💖🎃

And we’re starting early! We’re calling it HALLOWEEN WEEK, and we’re kicking it all off at the Beacon Farmers' Market this Sunday, October 25! 🐈‍⬛👻✨

We’re talking vendors in costumes, pumpkin EVERYTHING, spooky tunes, a little dancing, treats for the kiddos, and maybe a surprise or two. 😉

Oh, and did we mention there might just be a parade of pint-sized ghosts and goblins making their way through the market? Because why wear that fabulous costume just once when you can give it a proper debut? 🎃

We’ll be revealing more of the fun throughout the week, so stay tuned!

This. This is what Teeny Greeny is all about. 💚✨

We happened upon this little moment at the market on Sunday, and we could hardly believe our eyes.

A little shopper. A little spending money. A very big moment.

Choosing their own food. Choosing *this* food. Handing over their own market currency. Meeting the farmer who grew it. And walking away with something delicious — and the pride of having bought it themselves.

It was so beautiful.

Thanks to our friends at Hudson Valley Credit Union kids can visit the Manager’s Tent every Sunday through November 22 to receive $4 in Teeny Greeny market currency to spend on fresh, locally grown food.

From market day to auction day! 💖✨

What do you do after one of the most glorious Sundays at the Beacon Farmers' Market — Come home and unpack an extraordinary collection of deliciousness, of course!

Today I gathered some beautiful donations from our BFM vendors, all destined for a fabulous charcuterie board I’ll be putting together on Friday for the Common Ground Farm 25th Anniversary Auction at Hudson Valley Brewery at 6pm! 🧀🫒🥖🥟🍪🍷

And that’s just one little taste of what’s in store!

We’ve also assembled an AMAZING Beacon Farmers' Market gift basket, packed with some of the best of the best from our vendors, and it’s one of MANY wonderful items up for auction! Other items include dinner The Wild Kitchen & Bar — a stay at AutoCamp — a day Dia Art Foundation | Dia Beacon, Dia Chelsea, Dia Bridgehampton — a flower club from FloraMoonFarm — a pottery workshop form The Newburgh Pottery — plus art, vintage CGF posters, and sooooo much more.

Here’s something you might not know: Beacon Farmers' Market is stewarded by Common Ground Farm — the nonprofit working to make fresh, healthy food accessible to more people and build a stronger, more equitable local food system.

Oh, BEACON. What a SUNDAY! 💥 After more than a MONTH of rainy Sundays, the skies finally turned BLUE. And boy did we celebrate! ☀️

We may come for the food, but what we grow together is something so much bigger. Today was one of those Sundays that reminds us just how extraordinary an ordinary gathering of neighbors can be.

Our hearts are bursting.

BLACK GARLIC IS HAVING A MOMENT! 🖤🧄✨

And so is Alex from Flours Pasta & Bakeshop whom we accidentally left off this Sunday’s vendor map! 😱 (Sorry, Alex + Sophia! 💖)

But you definitely won’t want to miss him!

He’s bringing BLACK GARLIC RAVIOLI, made with black garlic from our very own Kimberley M. Hart paired with mascarpone and a little Parmesan. Sweet, tangy, deeply savory, and packed with umami. YES, PLEASE!

And speaking of black garlic... we’re featuring it at The Tasting Station this Sunday, too! 🧄🥖🧂 Come discover its deliciously complex flavor with sourdough from All You Knead Artisan Bakers + olive oil, and a little pink Himalayan salt from Sweet Tallulah

One incredible local ingredient. So many delicious possibilities.
