12 baby ducks have hatched do not know if I’m keeping any of these part of I would like to put some duck in the freezer though…. But other than that, they will be available soon. Have to make it through at least 24 hours in the outside Brooder before they can go looking for new home!

But I’m so busy. I probably won’t post them for sale till Saturday on any of the farm group.

OK so 20 turkeys hatched but two of them do seem weaker/slightly lethargic so I do not expect them to make it through the night!
Sadly It’s a part of it, and I’m a firm believer if I baby them now and get them to live….. they’ll need to extra care the rest of their life!
A little apple cider vinegar in the water, high protein feed and the rest is up to them!

Ducks will get their own separate post

I set the bowl down for one second and Mama Dugger and her babies gonna treat it like it’s a brownie mixing bowl and want to scrape the edges! 🙄

Anyway with all the bad weather that we’ve been having, extra rain, and just mud everywhere! I made some spicy rice to help aid in making sure that nobody gets parasites… additional red pepper flakes and cayenne helps your chicken become a non-ideal place for parasites to grow or even facilitate! I do keep a little in their feed but I wanted to update it with this nasty weather!

Sidenote:
if you didn’t know, chickens have no heat sensors! So when it comes to spicy food or peppers the heat of the food will not bother them!

Well somebody didn’t get the memo that the hatch day was supposed to be Tuesday… 🙄

She seen I had the water on and left her nest for a bath! I suspect her babies will be hatching before June 8. Excited to see what they look like! The Drake with her is a Rouen so they will be beautiful!
