Ever wonder how we plant thousands of tiny seeds without going cross-eyed? 🌱😄

This handy vacuum planter makes the job so much easier! We hook up a small shop vac to the planter and use different plates depending on the size of the tray we’re planting. The plate we’re using today holds 128 seeds at a time, making quick work of planting our cauliflower and Romanesco trays.

Once the seeds are in place, we cover them with soil, label each tray so we know exactly what’s growing, and give them a good watering to help them get started. 💧🌱

Now comes the waiting game as these little babies begin to sprout and grow!

Check back in a week or two, and we’ll show you just how much they’ve grown. It’s amazing what a little soil, water, and sunshine can do! ☀️

We know, we know… the market just won’t be the same without us, and you’re probably going to miss seeing our smiling faces. But don’t worry — we’re only playing hooky for one more week, and we’ll be back before you know it! 🎉

In the meantime, you can still get your Fenton fix by stopping by Fenton’s Bloom and Basket at 3646 W. Main St. Rd., Batavia!

And trust us, you don’t want to miss what’s happening here. We are absolutely overflowing with new goodies — we received FIVE different deliveries today! 🚚🌸🌿
