Our goose gang has settled into their respective groups for now. Moms and teenagers (2 month olds) and biscuit hang together and 2 dads take care of the 4 baby goslings! So pleased bc one of our ganders was being ostracized by the other 2 males and I was feeling so badly for him during breeding season. He now has a very important job and his fellow gander has stepped in to be his buddy while they protect the little ones. They don’t leave their side, following them around all day. We now have 13 geese 😬

Here are a few snaps from the gardens 😍 I can’t wait for all the goodness that will come from months of hard work! I have been on the road so much since April, it’s been challenging to keep up! Family trips, sports tournaments, and most recently an anniversary trip to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary 💕All wonderful and so much fun! It’s hard to start a garden from seed, get it all in the ground, and then keep it alive when the heat and bugs are set to destroy all your hard work when you’re not looking! 2 weeks left of school and giving these gardens the love and attention they need!

We are heartbroken over the sudden passing of our beloved cat Pumpkin. We got him as a baby right after moving to the farm. He was always there, saying hi at the window, planting in the garden with me, walking the kids to the bus every morning. He was a very special cat. 💔

What a weekend! 💕 A post of gratitude. Thank you to everyone who purchased buns from me this past weekend. I truly hope all the recipients thoroughly enjoyed them! Thank you to Lisette and Jen for reaching out and giving me the opportunity to create these sweet homemade treats to pair with their beautiful tulips. I love learning new things and challenging myself to see what I can accomplish. Now, I know that I can make 108 sourdough cinnamon rolls over the course of 3 days when each of my 4 kids has a game/practice/regatta/tournament. Thank you to my family, they supported me and cheered me on! They were the best taste testers and hype girls/guy that you could ever hope for 😆. So now that I’ve got this down, I might as well keep making them! Stay tuned for dates when I’ll have pre-orders open for fresh baked sourdough cinnamon rolls available for pickup at our farmstand.

Super sweet to have a bee expert as a neighbor! Denis has been instrumental in our bee journey. Can’t thank him enough- he was also a huge help during maple season! The raw local honey we are selling on our stand is from his apiary. Today they split the hives🤞🏻 🐝 🍯

I was inspired by using pickled jalapeños in her sourdough - I made this using my cowboy candy aka candied jalapeños and cheddar! I don’t usually make bread the kids won’t eat but we gotta try new things. LOVE the chunks of cheese vs shredded, you can actually see and taste the cheese. I’ll definitely be making this again! Enjoying a delish egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast today! What new inclusions have you been trying??
