I’ll be hosting 2 beginner sourdough workshops at Galway Rock Winery this fall! Wednesday 9/23 and Wednesday 10/28 6:30-8:30. Join me to start your sourdough baking journey! You’ll leave with your very own started and a ton of tips and info from me. August is such a bittersweet month. On the farm, it’s the time when months of planning, planting, tending, and hard work finally come to fruition. Homegrown vegetables, fruits, flowers, pasture raised pork, and honey are ripe and ready to be harvested and preserved. We finally finished our fencing and welcomed Penny home! With the addition of Willie and Waylon! We did it. This is what we have been working and hoping for. At the same time, we find ourselves trying to slow down as a family- to soak up a beautiful sunset, savor the long evenings, and enjoy the ease and freedom that comes with summer break. The farm is at its fullest while summer is quietly winding down. ✨

I can’t believe it’s August! Stand is freshly stocked for the weekend! I’ll be adding cabbage and Roma tomatoes later today. A pause in raspberries, last year’s canes are finishing up and the new ones should be going in the next week or 2- stay tuned! Thank you for all your wonderful support!!

After 9 amazing days of family time down the eastern shore of virginia - avoiding fresh produce and living on 🍩 and 🦀 - it feels absolutely amazing to come to so much goodness in the gardens!! If this rain chills out, the stand will be open tomorrow, if not then Friday it will be stocked!

Stand is stocked for the weekend! Last call for fresh no spray organic berries for another 2 weeks! Dahlias are making their appearance a bit early this year and we are loving it! Just made jams- peach/raspberry and original raspberry! Honey, eggs, and a firewood bundle. Thanks for supporting our family farm! It’s a great time to be growing your own food- we are so proud to be sharing it with our community!
