Calling all garlic lovers….

If you love garlic and never had garlic scapes - this is for you!

If you grow your own food or prefer fresh, then you know how delightful it is when something seasonal and delicate comes into its peak harvest. Right now that is garlic scapes.

What I’ve learned is not many people know how to use them or if they even exist. So, I put this little video together for you.

Hopefully, this helps make your next meal even more delicious.

Plant Catnip!

That’s right catnip has a chemical in it called nepetalactone.

Some really cool scientist figured out that that chemical found in catnip repels things like mosquitoes and flies. So, if you have a cat, they will also thank you!

Grab one this weekend and throw it on your porch and keep those bugs away.

Grafted Tomato Tip!

For those of you who have purchased a grafted tomato from us, here is a tip that may help your yields:

Be sure to plant the tomato plant no deeper than where it currently sits in the pot.

These are planted just below the grafting line.

If the top tomato plant takes root it could bypass the intended root system that these were grafted onto.
