Yesterday, I had the incredible honor and privilege of serving His Excellency Jakub Kulhanek, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United States, during the Czech Heritage Month Grand Finale Gala in Temple, Texas! 🇨🇿

As the owner of Pavlova Catering & Bakery, it was a truly special experience to share traditional Czech cuisine with our Ambassador right here in Texas. 👩‍🍳❤️

I was also delighted to personally present him with a copy of my Pavlova Czech Cookbook! 📖🇨🇿

For me, this was more than just a catering event. It was a beautiful reminder of how food connects people, preserves our heritage, and brings a little piece of home across the ocean.

Yesterday’s spectacular gala in Temple, Texas, was filled with wonderful people, Czech traditions, beautiful music, and unforgettable moments! ❤️

My heartfelt thanks to Brian Allen Vanicek for organizing such an incredible event and to His Excellency Jakub Kulhanek, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United States, for his special visit to Texas and his support of the Czech community. 🇨🇿🇺🇸

It was a true honor and privilege for me to be part of this special evening and to share the flavors of traditional Czech cuisine through my business, Pavlova Catering & Bakery. 🥘🇨🇿

❤️ I am deeply grateful for all the kind words, wonderful feedback, and compliments on my food. Your appreciation means the world to me!

🇨🇿🇸🇰 Happy Czech Independence Day! Celebrating 108 Years of Czech Heritage! ❤️

Today, October 28, we celebrate a very special day in Czech history – the 108th anniversary of the founding of independent Czechoslovakia in 1918.

Even though we are thousands of miles away from our homeland, our Czech traditions, culture, and heritage remain close to our hearts. ❤️

And what better way to celebrate our roots than by coming together around traditional Czech food? 🇨🇿🥰

✨ This Saturday, October 31, I am honored to be part of the Czech Heritage Month Grand Finale Gala in Temple, Texas!

I will have the pleasure of welcoming guests with authentic Czech dishes, lovingly prepared by Pavlova Catering & Bakery, using my own traditional Czech recipes.

From delicious Czech specialties to the comforting flavors of home, I can’t wait to share a little piece of our homeland with everyone! ❤️

🇨🇿🇺🇸 170 Years of Czech Heritage in Texas – Let’s Celebrate! ✨

I’m truly honored and excited to announce that Pavlova Catering & Bakery will be providing the traditional Czech dinner buffet for the Czech Heritage Month in Texas – Grand Finale Gala! ❤️

For more than 170 years, Czech traditions, culture, and heritage have been part of the Texas story. What better way to celebrate this special connection than by bringing people together through music, friendship, and, of course, delicious Czech food!

🍽️ I’ll be preparing a buffet filled with authentic Czech favorites, including beef goulash, vepřo knedlo zelo, chicken schnitzel, homemade Czech dumplings, chlebíčky, and more!

🎶 The evening will also feature live music by the University of North Texas Brass Band, special guests, and live and silent auctions.

❤️ Proceeds will benefit the Czech Heritage Museum in Temple, helping preserve and share Czech culture with future generations.

🎄🇨🇿 A LITTLE TASTE OF CZECH CHRISTMAS IN TEXAS! ❤️🇺🇸

Christmas may still be a little while away, but in my kitchen, the magic of Czech Christmas is already beginning… ✨

For me, Christmas has always been about more than decorations and presents. It’s about family, traditions, the wonderful smell of freshly baked cookies, and recipes passed down through generations. ❤️

From delicate vanilla crescents (vanilkové rohlíčky) and buttery Linzer cookies (linecké cukroví) to traditional gingerbread (perníčky) and many other Czech Christmas favorites — every little cookie carries a piece of home. 🍪

Even though I now bake here in Texas, my heart and my Christmas traditions will always have a little piece of the Czech Republic in them. 🇨🇿❤️

This year, I’m especially excited to share more of my favorite Czech Christmas traditions, family recipes, and the little stories behind them.

Because some traditions are simply too beautiful — and too delicious — not to share. ✨
