Behind every successful food business is a senior staff member that has been there since the beginning. Their loyalty, their dedication, their willingness to work long hours, and their passion for wanting the business to succeed is invaluable. For us that person is Anaberta Rodriguez, known as Mama in the kitchen and around town. Her food talents are many but her heart and passion belongs to Mexican cuisine so we thought it would be a great idea to let her strut her stuff by encouraging her to start her own food line called LatinX which we feature in our prepared meals section. Trust us when we say, one bite and the food invokes a feeling of nostalgia and longing for good, natural, well seasoned food, made with love. When we asked her what inspired the menu she commented; "I longed for the taste of Mexico from my youth. I miss home and I miss wholesome food and I'm saddened that the consumer mind leads people to eating fast food, which has no actual nutritional value and is saturated with an obscene amount of fats and calories! I want people to know the seasoning of my youth, the health of my youth." We truly are grateful for our Mama of the kitchen, Anaberta, and are excited to promote and support her just as much as she has us.
