Southern Food Tour

Southern Food Tour Southern Food Tour’s mission is to be a distinctive voice for Southern Food to build awareness and community around Southern Food heritage.

We aim to do this by fostering the local chefs, farmers and artisans who are defining Southern Food right now. Food is our passion – Southern food in particular because it means so much more than just food. Food in the South is a way of life that has been passed down by generations and generations of home cooks to form the traditions and customs we are familiar with today. It is a sense of pride,

community, heritage, culture and a sense of time and place. Southern Food Tour was created to celebrate exactly this. Renowned chefs all across the country are increasingly embracing Southern cuisine due to a number of influential Southern chefs who have both maintained a commitment to traditional Southern food, while also challenging the conventional boundaries of Southern cuisine. Southern Food Tour has teamed up with some of the best restaurants and chefs in the South to celebrate the unique heritage of Southern Food and bring you an authentic Southern food experience.
