A heartfelt update from our family to yours 🤍
Over the past few months, The Ark has grown and evolved in ways we could have never imagined. What began as a boutique indoor play space slowly became something much deeper and more intentional — a relationship-centered early learning environment rooted in connection, emotional safety, and developmentally grounded programming.
As many of you know, our passion has increasingly shifted toward small-group educational experiences, preschool enrichment, toddler developmental programming, and intentional early childhood support for children ages 1–5.
After much reflection, we’ve made the decision to begin transitioning away from regular public open play operations in order to fully focus on this next chapter.
Beginning immediately:
• Fridays, May 22nd and May 29th, we will close at 2 PM
• Saturdays will no longer include open play hours
• Regular public open play operations will officially conclude at the end of June
While public open play will be phased out, we will continue offering limited private biweekly community open play sessions for some existing families we’ve built ongoing relationships with over time due to the intimate nature of our preschool environment and our desire to maintain a calm, consistent, and relationship-based space for children and families.
Memberships will not renew moving forward. Families we’ve built ongoing relationships with will receive individualized communication regarding operations and community access opportunities going forward.
As we move forward, our focus will be centered around:
• boutique preschool programming
• toddler developmental cohorts
• life skills enrichment
• intentional small-group learning experiences
• relationship-based educational support for families aligned with our vision
This next season will be slower, smaller, more intentional, and deeply rooted in the kind of meaningful educational experiences we feel most passionate about creating.
As we transition into more intimate, enrollment-based programming, communication moving forward will become more individualized and centered around participating families within our structured programs.

We are incredibly grateful to every family who has supported us throughout this journey and are excited for what’s ahead. It has been a pleasure watching all of your little ones play and grow.
