Cohiba is the most famous Cuban Cigar brand in the world and, according to many, the very finest as well
This jar, which is only available in Germany, Austria and Poland in a limited edition of 1,500 - is a special kind of collector's item. The occasion is the 25th anniversary of the founding of the official sole importer for Habanos in Germany, Austria and Poland, "5th Avenue Products Trading -GmbH". Together with the Cuban Habanos S.A. 25 years ago, Heinrich Villiger, managing director and partner of 5THAvenue, founded the world's first joint venture for the exclusive import and distribution of Habanos, the legally protected ci**rs from Cuba. On this occasion, 5THAvenue received from Habanos S.A. permission to have a porcelain jar made for the top Habanos brand Cohiba. All jars are individually numbered; they were manufactured by SELTMANN Porzellan in the Bavarian town of Weiden in the Upper Palatinate. They also have this lettering on the floor. The jars are filled with 25 Cohiba Pirámides Extra from current production.
With the Cohiba Pirámide Extra, the Línea Clasica of the Cohiba brand was expanded in 2012 with a large-volume format. For the first time, a figurado became an integral part of the Cohiba brand. A striking feature of the Piramides Extras is a newly designed cigar ring, which has been upgraded in the style of the Anillas from the Cohiba Behike super-premium line. It also has holograms and certain security features designed to make counterfeiting more difficult.
Even the cover page reveals; This cigar is not a new edition of Cohiba's 2006 Limitada. The new Piramide belongs to the Linea Classica. Ripe to***co aromas in the cold smell, pale sweetness, slightly reminiscent of Virginia to***co, delicate earthiness. Immediately after ignition, cohiba-typical full-bodied, grassy aromas unfold. Mushroomy nuances, the sweetness of acacia honey, gingerbread and cinnamon aromas dominate the full-bodied smoke.
