We make all the flavors for our cream cheese in house with fresh ingredients. We serve Counter Culture coffee (Fast Forward) all day, every day, because it is our absolute favorite coffee and gets us going. We serve Boars' Head meat and cheese, and slice it for our bagels and sandwiches. We're happy, easy-going folks and want you to start your day well with a delicious breakfast and some great coffee.

Hi friends,

We will be closed Wednesday and Thursday (October 13 and 14) this week for some repairs and to prep for what we safely assume will be a very busy weekend. We’ll be back open on Friday and on for business as usual.

On a separate note, we’re hiring right now. If interested, come in sometime Mon-Thurs.

Happy Holidays y'all!

We will be open Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) from 7:30am - 12:30pm.
We will be closed on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) and New Years' Day (Jan. 1).

We'll be open every other day for business as usual!

Also, we do sell gift certificates, T-Shirts, and hats if anyone needs to buy some last minute Christmas presents!

1/2 Dozen = $8
Baker's Dozen = $15
Any and all cream cheeses at $1/ounce.
96oz boxes of Counter Culture coffee available for $20

For any orders of a dozen or more bagels, please feel free to call us a day or two in advance and place your order so we can make sure to bake enough bagels and set aside exactly what you want in case we run out!

Side note: We can take payments via cell phone (i.e. Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc) if you ever forget your wallet or just prefer it.

Howdy folks,

We’ll start off with the bad news: We recently found out that one of our employees tested positive for COVID-19. It scared us for sure, but we knew we needed to close for a day to isolate, get tested, and see what to do going forward. That said, we are very sorry for anyone who drove down to the restaurant today and was disappointed to see us closed. We don’t enjoy that at all, but we had to make sure that we were safe and could keep all of our wonderful customers safe as well!

Now for the good news: The rest of us all got tested today and what do ya know, we all tested negative! With this relieving news, we will back open tomorrow, Thursday, October 8th, for business. We will continue to be tested regularly as we know this pandemic is not going away anytime soon. We are incredibly grateful for all of your continued support and look forward to seeing you. Be smart, be safe, continue to wear a mask when you enter the restaurant, and as long as we all continue to take these precautions, we’ll be around to fulfill your bagel desires.

Hello everyone, Ideal Bagel is back open for business starting…now!

We hope you will all come see us shortly. Since we have been closed for a while, I feel it’s necessary to mention a few new changes we’ve implemented:

1. Our hours have changed (but not by much). We’re open 6:30 – 2:00pm on weekdays, and 7:30-2:00pm on weekends
2. For the time being, we are doing all orders To-Go. Our dining room is closed (temporarily, obviously). We are leaving tables outside if you would like to eat here though!
3. Our prices have gone up some (it’s not that much), and the new prices have sales tax included in them. We hate to raise prices, but food costs have gone up, and we haven’t raised them since we opened back in 2013.
4. With COVID-19 changing the way we all have to operate, the counter person will be making all coffee drinks for the time being.
5. No shoes, no shirt, no mask, no service.
