It’s been 6 days since we planted the first strawberry 🍓root for the 2027 season. It is exciting to share we have about 80% of the berries starting to show their first leaf of life so far.

We are getting so excited for the season, we hope you plan to come see us in the spring!!

We are planning to try and offer other items for you picking, what are those items you might want to see? Note these are items that would be available to grow and have ready for y’all in April and May.

We’ve been quiet at the farm and on Facebook these last couple months, the truth is we had an amazing spring and early summer production on the farm, at the farmers markets Good Local Markets, Athens, Tx Farmers Market you guys showed up for us. Thru other outlets like Rooted: ETX Local Goods + Market you guys showed up for us. This season was truly amazing for us!!

We decided it was best to rest the ground this fall from a fall garden.

We thank everyone who choose to shop with us and to give our small farm your business.

With that being said we have shifted back into gear and the last Two long labor intense days we spent planting our 2027 strawberry🍓 crop.

All 20,000 of our strawberries have been planted in the ground, did I mention all by hand at that!!

We have increased our production by 7,000 plants for 2027 season, the goal is to be open longer periods and have plenty of berries for picking.

The drip water system is running full force, as well as our sprinkler pumping water over head to get these little baby berries rooted and off to a great start for this coming strawberry season in 2027.

Just dropped a few cantaloupe at Rooted: ETX Local Goods + Market, while I was there grabbed a Melonberry refreshing melonberry twist juice. This juice is DELICIOUS 10/10 need to give it a try!! Open the bottle to sweet aroma from the cantaloupe to a taste of sweet satisfaction of yeah that’s the good stuff right there!!

Well guys we did it!! We had an awesome family vacation at Disney world thanks to all the love and support of y’all!!

Unfortunately vacation ended and we spent this week getting back to work! We will be back at Athens, Tx Farmers Market 9-noon and
Good Local Markets 8-noon this Saturday with a load of beautiful fresh picked watermelon’s, cantaloupes, okra, eggplant, fresh shelled purple hull peas. Can’t wait to see everyone, come on out grab a beautiful sweet watermelon. 🍉
