We are reaching out to seek your support for our friends at Ichiban, whose restaurant has been devastated by the flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. The damage was extensive, with water reaching the roof, and the timeline for rebuilding remains uncertain.
Compounding their challenges, they do not have flood insurance due to the high costs or unavailability of coverage. Any contributions, regardless of size, would be immensely helpful during this difficult period.

Thank you to the 50 volunteers from 7 local restaurants: Wild Ginger, Yao buffet, Murasaki, Wasabi, Brasilia, Chen Garden, and Ichiban for helping today. Thanks to Pepsi as well for donating 200 packs of water to give away. It was a successful day and we estimate that we served 500 people, including linemen, police officers, and lots of people from the community.

We will also be giving out a free pack of water (1 per household) until supplies run out. It will be from 12PM-3PM, and we would love it if people shared this message.
