STELLAR LABS® was developed by Christine Hanson M.S., L.D.N., C.N.S., C.P.T., licensed nutritionist and personal trainer and owner and operator of Washington Nutrition Group, a chain of medical nutrition therapy and weight loss clinics in the Washington DC Metro Area.

After over 12 years of helping patients, the dietitian nutrition team at Washington Nutrition Group began to notice a common trend in patients who reversed or improved their weight, diabetes, blood pressure, and cholesterol the quickest and kept their weight and medical conditions under control the longest. Most had used convenient portion control meal replacements high in protein integrated into a very structured eating system.

Since dietitian nutritionists always prefer to recommend natural food, the Washington Nutrition Group team began to search for a line of more natural convenient portion-controlled snacks free of artificial flavors, sweeteners and preservatives that are low in sodium, saturated fat and sugar and designed to complement all lifestyles including people who only eat plant protein and struggle with IBS and digestive issues.
