Fall on the farm means countless bed flips and a big push to prepare the fields for their winter slumber. We’ve said goodbye to our beloved hoop tomatoes, sweet peppers, and ginger to make room for luscious late-season crops that allow us to keep eating fresh food late into the year!

The tomato hoop is soon to house your favorite cool weather crops like frisée, escarole, head lettuce, turnips, and radishes!

The ginger and pepper hoop will soon be bursting with spinach that will fuel our most sought-after Winter Spinach Club Membership!

POV: You’re a bird migrating south and you stopped by our farm for a fly-over

Big big thank you to Farmington Farmers Market Farmington Farmers Market and Mitchell Logic Mitchell Logic for partnering together to tell the story of our farm! They visited our fields, chatted with us farmers, and fueled the local food movement! Stay tuned to see more from their adventures on the farm!

Don’t forget Matt Demmon - Feral Flora is pictured here too! They share our land with us and make the best neighbors a farmer could ask for!

Eggplant season is in full swing!

This season we grew 2 types of eggplant - Italian and Asian! Asian eggplant tend to have thinner skin, maximum sweetness, and are long and slender. Italian are teardrop shaped and a bit plumper! Both varieties are sweeter with less seeds and more tender skin than your traditional globe eggplant!

Find our eggplants at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market on Wednesdays & Saturdays and the Farmington Farmers Market on Saturdays! We also have eggplant for sale in our Farm Stand, open 8am-8pm every day!

Shish*to shenanigans 🤸

Shish*tos are fan-favorite pepper! They’re sweet and mild, but legend has it, about one in every ten are hot.

They’re amazing blistered in a hot skillet with a little oil, salt, and citrus! They make the perfect side dish to your summer dinners or an excellent snack!

Find them at our Farm Stand and Farmers Markets!

(No shish*tos sold for consumption were contaminated in the making of these photos)
