Come learn how a Local Food Co-Op can help Our Towns
at Cooperative Extension Services (CES)

(Potluck at 6pm -if you aren’t already going to one w/friends of ACE using local foods)
Learn How the local food co-op movement around the world is helping strengthen local economies, increase health of people & the environment, how working together decreases our dependency on fossil fuels & global monies and increases the production of that which heals ourselves , our communities, and our environment.
You might be a ‘Local Foodie’ If you are someone that wants to buy local healthy food, a farmer, rancher, fisherperson, backyard gardener wanting to sell your extra surplus, or if you are a processor, distributor, or restaurant owner wanting to be a part of the local foods movement.
Please come and learn more about what a local food co-op is and how it can help our community, increase the local economy and health of our family and friends, and start fixing the environment.

* How an online local food co-op can help our community and what the steps are we need to do for one

* The possibility of opening one here in Anchorage in spring 2012 –depending who & how many get involved
