It’s been brought to my attention that there are some dates wrong on some packaging. Please don’t be alarmed that it is “old” or wrong deer. My grandson got ahold of the date stamper and I didn’t check it before marking packages. My apologies. I will add that to the list of things to start double checking before marking.

The end of the season has come. Y’all kept me busy for sure this year! Thank you all for trusting me again with your harvest. Thank you for participating with the Bible verse wall. It not only gave yall something to see but it’s been a great inspiration to me as well. Let’s face it, there were a few days when I was ready to toss the towel in. Standing in the office getting ready to start my long day, I would read them and it helped push me through.
I still have deer here that I am working hard to get back to y’all. Hopefully it won’t be much longer. The couch is seriously calling my name lol.

I won’t be able to take any more deer in because I have so many in 120-150 qt coolers ( apartment refrigerator size) that take up 2-3 spots, 1 deer in 2-3 cooler taking up extra space , yeti, or yeti wanna be coolers that have broke handles or no handles at all. All in which are too heavy for me ( by myself) to pick up and stack so that I can make room for more.
Now, if you have a normal size cooler, 70 qt is perfect ,with both handles , text me. I can lift those and stack properly. This has been an ongoing issue for awhile but it has gotten worse over the last 2 months. Often part of why I have to stop taking in deer.
If you don’t have access to a good , normal size cooler, one that don’t make you grunt picking it up empty, I have a few left for $5 rental.
To all of you that do all the little things like make sure you have a proper cooler, thank you for making my job easier and more enjoyable. Your kindness is always noticed and is why I go the extra mile for you 😊

Today and tomorrow info….

Guys , I love y’all. I really do. But there is absolutely no amount of money or bribery that can persuade me to take a whole deer today. Doing one isn’t horrible but there are more of you than me. And holding it whole for a few days isn’t guaranteeing you a spot. I can’t say that I will be full or not in a day or 2. This is the last 2 weeks and I know y’all are trying to fill the freezer. I think this is what we get for complaining about the free week of Alaska weather. We got Antarctica instead 🤣

Just giving an update..

I know I said just a couple more days but this cold wether is really slowing me down physically. I can not get warm enough to work full strength. But I also can’t just stop. Lets face it , i am not a spring chicken anymore. I know the majority of you all understand and are so patient with me. Thank you for that. My phone has been ringing off the hook non stop for the last 2 days. I am trying. 😊

Making progress. Should only be a couple more days to start taking in again. Now let’s pray that the weekend weather doesn’t shut me down😮
