I am thinking of those individuals that I know and those I have not met as I reflect on all which they have given and sacrificed. Bless one and all of our Service Men & Women over all these years.

Here is the plywood, 4x8x1/2" (11 sheets) this is a fire-rated plywood that does not alter much, however it does make is a reddish color. I took a phot and a video to show the deckle edging, and of course the top sheet shows the shape is was stacked under.

Nice spooling measuring unit, with cut-off unit and take up, on adjustable base. My project is over and I cannot see the next use for this. Jax is really digging away at my toys.

As we lumber/struggle thru a challenging spring, here are photos of Sansa and Honeycrisp.... apple...etts? While the Sansa is still showing blossoms the effective pollination season has passed.

The Bumble and feral bees carried the load this year, the weather did not favor the honey bee.

I was a bit surprised to learn that Del Monte has sold parts and bankrupted other aspects of their business. This is a lot of fruit that will not be headed to shelves. Draw your own conclusions however peaches supplies are certainly being reduced.

Good time to find and support your local farmers, not just the farmer market resellers. The actual farmers.

Del Monte Foods is filing for bankruptcy protection. The 139-year-old company is best known for its canned fruits and vegetables, which have seen sales slide as consumers seek healthier and cheaper options.

Hey All, I need a hand here, Who has experience and opinions on the best "Wheat Berries" flour mill out there, I am looking for a single pass mill, stand alone, and have the capacity to not take 2 hours for 5 pounds. ;)

Jax and I took a walkabout the orchard this morning and we are delighted to report that many and most of the trees are working on bursting out the blossoms. This happens to be a Paula Red.

We are crawling (reluctantly) into spring, the whipsaw temperatures and the huge fat rain drops are challenges, With my whining out of the way, ;)

Look at how beautiful and delicate these blossoms of our cherries are. just starting to break open and adding to the options for the pollinators.
