The unglamorous side of running a regenerative vegetable farm during a late, dry spring. A beautiful Saturday evening spent listening to a chorus of peepers and coyotes…while hoeing beds and seeding crops in near darkness before the first real rain in weeks.
We feel so lucky to get to work with our hands outside everyday, growing healthy food for our community. And every so often we have to pay for that privilege by burning some midnight oil.
Looking forward to a more rainy and restful Sunday evening!
