Come on out to the market tomorrow! We’ll be back with baked goods, plants and produce!!

Tomorrow morning looks partly cloudy on the mountain, come on out and see what new things are at the market!

Our vendors are bringing a wide variety of locally raised meat cuts, fresh cut flowers, tons of fresh picked produce (hello tomatoes and corn!), along with fresh baked breads! Our artisan crafters have been busy creating unique one of a kind items, perfect for a birthday or Christmas gifts!

I had the pleasure of sharing my afternoon harvest with the hummingbirds. They buzz by my head as I pull ripe tomatoes from the vine; and I am reminded how good life is🍅

Our farmers are bringing tons of fresh produce thanks to the recent rains! Grab your bags, a cooler and come on out to the market tomorrow!

We've got Oakshire Farm serving up their from scratch breakfast biscuits (local flour, sausage, eggs, and cheese), El Chilango Mexican Grill LLC serving up fresh made breakfast burritos and Kona Ice of Charlottesville cooling us down with fluffy shaved ice!

Howdy Folks!! Bear Dog Farm Stand will be at the Nelson Farmers Market Coop. this Saturday, July 11th. It’s been a few weekends since we’ve been out so we are READY!

🍅Produce - We’ll have cucumbers, zucchini, green/purple beans, and tomatoes.

💫SURPRISE!! Your favorite SOURDOUGH CHOCOLATE CHIP cookies will be back at the Nelson Farmers Market this weekend!

All the hard work over the last few months in the garden has finally started to pay off so we will have zucchini and potatoes, as well as a couple culinary herbs 🥒🥔👩🏻‍🌾

This will be my last weekend for tomato plants! 🍅They are big and healthy and ready to be put in the ground ASAP.

🌻If you’ve dreamed of being able to walk outside and make yourself a bouquet of flowers, , I have a large variety of cut flower plants available including eucalyptus, zinnia, cosmos, salvia, and more!!

🐾Hey Everyone! We are in full prep-mode for returning to the Nelson Farmers Market Coop. on Saturday May 30th!

🍪Come get some light and fluffy Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies (we have dairy-free too!) We will also have our Banana Bread mini loaf tins.

The farmstand is located at 11254 Rockfish Valley Hwy., Afton, VA, open Wednesday-Saturday, 10am-7pm. We accept cash, Venmo, and square.
