M&D Bee Farm We sell pure, local, raw, south Texas Honey, and various beeswax products such as skin and lip balms Another influence was my dad. Finally, the time was right.

In 2014 Mike and I watched a documentary called "Vanishing Bees". We were intrigued and felt compelled by its call to action for more people to keep bees. My dad was a beekeeper in his younger days and had encouraged Mike to keep bees when we moved to the 'country' 30 years ago. Mike and I are both retired and enjoy learning new things and doing things together. We have learned a LOT about bees and continue to learn more about them daily.
