Today Bud would’ve been 87 years young. He worked either on the farm or taking care of my mother until the moment the Lord took him “in the blink of an eye.” Through thick and thin he kept going.

So today and everyday I take time to count my blessings and give thanks for the many ways he supported and encouraged me throughout the years. I know I’ve been blessed by having this loving, humble, gentle giant in my life.

“We have shared together the blessings of God.”—Philippians 1:7

As we begin planting this week, venturing out without Bud, our security, stability, faithfulness and fruitfulness is rooted in our trust that God will provide everything we need as we move forward. God bless us all!
