Aberdeen Farmer’s Market is primarily a producer only market. A producer is defined as the person who grows or makes the product and may also include the producer’s immediate family, partner in producing products, or designated employees.
- All vendors must complete a vendor registration form, prior to selling at the market.
- Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables and tents. However, tables and tents may be available for a nominal rental fee.
- There is no vendor fee
- Set up is according to availability and the Market Manager’s discretion. Single day vendors must contact the Market Manager, prior to vending.

Rules and Regulations
Disputes or questions such as the provenance of items for sale, space assignment, general conduct and the enforcement of market rules, will be resolved by the Market Managers and the Aberdeen Business Guild. For each violation of the rules and regulations incurred, a written warning notice will be issued. Violations of the rules, regulations or provisions, of the Farmer’s Market, will be handled in the following manner:
1st Violation: A written warning will be issued and no other penalty will be incurred.
2nd Violation: When a second written notice is issued, forfeiture of a space, at the next farmer’s market vendor was planning to attend, will occur.
3rd Violation: When a third and final warning notice is given, forfeiture of a space at the farmer’s market for the remainder of the season will occur. Priority status to obtain a full-season space for next year’s market will be lost.
•Vendors will strive to sell products of the highest freshness and quality
•Vendors will be expected to conduct business in a courteous manner
•Vendor areas must be cleaned up and market area cleared by 30 minutes after the closing of the market.
•Vendors must arrive at the market between 9:00am –11:30am and set up to sell by opening of the market at 12:00pm. If you are going to be late, you must have communicated with the Market
Manager prior to the time you’re expected. Vendors that are late and have not communicated with the Market Manager can lose their space, for the day, to a single day vendor.
•No vendor will be allowed to drive his or her vehicle into the market after 11:30am, unless approved in advance by a Market Manager.
•Vendors must let the Market Manager know if they do not plan on vending on any given Saturday. Please do not assume that the manager knows your vending schedule.
•Each vendor is responsible for keeping his and her area clean before, during and after each market.
•Vendors are responsible for their own chairs, shade devices, change bags, etc.
•No vendor shall sell his or her products prior to 12:00pm.
•Products must be clearly priced. Artisan and Craft Vendors: Any vendor wishing to sell hand-crafted products, at the market, must have their products approved by submitting photos or samples prior to selling. Baked Goods:
Vendors are responsible for following food preparation, processing and labeling regulations required by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
