Oysterbay Farmers Market The Oysterbay Farmers Market has been funded by the EU in collaboration with the WFP and CEFA. Check out the Farmers Market from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In 2019 vendors have been supported in the registration of the Swahili Farmers Market Cooperative and they are now continuing to organize the markets. Funded by the European Union (EU), the Oysterbay Farmers Market is an initiative to mobilize the Dar es Salaam urban community around high quality, local food production. Founded in 2013 by the World Food Programme (WFP) in collaboration with an Ita

lian NGO, CEFA, the Farmers Market brings together over 30 vendors to set up shop in the open air courtyard at the Oysterbay Shopping Centre. In 2019, vendors have been supported in the registration of the Swahili Farmers Market Cooperative Society. The entity is currently continuing the organization of the markets. Local and naturally produced foods and products such as fruits, vegetables, eggs, honey, coffee, cheese, gourmet chocolate, pastries and hybrid papayas are featured commodities. on the last Saturday of every month, excluding July and December.
