We were deeply honoured to welcome Her Royal Highness Princess Anisha Rosnah of Brunei, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Anisha Rosnah binti Adam, to AMGD Superfood Restaurant during her visit to Enabling Village. 💜

During her tour, Her Royal Highness stopped by our restaurant, where we had the privilege of sharing our journey in advancing disability inclusion through meaningful employment and community engagement.

In just one year at Enabling Village, RETA Social Enterprise and AMGD Global have created employment opportunities for over 20 persons with disabilities.

We are also grateful for the opportunity to share our upcoming initiatives, including programmes focused on youth development, mental health and well-being, and inclusive opportunities for students.

Through these initiatives, we hope to extend our social impact beyond employment, creating more opportunities for learning, personal growth and community participation.

Her Royal Highness's commitment to inclusive education is also reflected in her involvement, alongside her husband, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen, in the inauguration of Brunei's first dedicated special needs school, Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam School, in July 2024.

Our team was delighted to share our mission of making one healthy meal a day accessible to everyone, creating meaningful employment opportunities for persons with disabilities, and bringing delicious, nutritious food to underserved communities.

It was an honour to welcome Minister Ong to our restaurant at Enabling Village and share the journey, purpose and people behind AMGD Global and RETA Social Enterprise.

AMGD started with a simple mission: Everyone can enjoy one healthy meal a day. 🥗

Over the years, that mission has grown beyond providing delicious, healthy food. We believe that food can bring people together, create meaningful conversations, open doors to inclusive employment and build stronger, healthier communities.

Through RETA Social Enterprise, we are committed to creating meaningful training and employment opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). At AMGD Superfood Restaurant, our colleagues with disabilities work alongside our service crew, contributing their strengths to the everyday experiences we create for our customers.

During our conversation with Minister Ong, we shared our belief that a healthier Singapore must also be a more inclusive Singapore — one where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, develop their strengths and take pride in their work.

We also had the opportunity to share some of our exciting upcoming initiatives, centred around healthy living, mental well-being and disability inclusion. As we continue to grow, we hope to bring delicious, healthy food to more communities, create meaningful employment pathways for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), and make health and inclusion a greater part of everyday life.

Our heartfelt thanks to Minister Ong for taking the time to visit our restaurant, meet our team and learn more about our work. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our vision and aspirations as we continue working towards a healthier, happier and more inclusive Singapore. 💜

🌱 Growing an inclusive future, together. 💜

We’re excited to announce our partnership with The Circle for Human Sustainability (TCHS) to bring the AMGD Enabling Garden to life at Enabling Village.

Together with Reta Social Enterprise, the project aims to create an inclusive and accessible edible garden where persons with disabilities can gain training and work experience, while the wider community can learn more about food, sustainability and inclusion.

We officially kicked off the partnership with a briefing and site visit for six Certified Permaculture Designers. The designers have now been divided into two teams, who will develop their proposals as part of a collaborative design competition over the coming weeks.

This is more than a garden — it’s an opportunity to bring together food, sustainability, accessibility and meaningful employment, while creating a space where people of different abilities can learn, contribute and grow together. 🌿

We’re grateful to TCHS for being part of this journey, and we can’t wait to see the ideas that grow from here. 💜
