Three years ago, when our office found out that DPWH was going to develop the earth dikes along Polo River, we immediately got in touch with them to push for a sustainable development ex*****on that would protect the 3-meter river easement perpetually and prevent people from building structures all the way to the edge of the river. We told them that this project should also serve as a shortcut for pedestrians and bikers from Tagalag, Wawang Pulo, Bilog-Balangkas, and Balangkas going to Poblacion. We drew inspiration from similar mobility projects abroad.

Kapag natapos na ang Polo Riverwalk, the total length will be 6 km of pedestrian- and bike-friendly bypass road.

Mas ligtas. Mas maaliwalas. Mas mabilis na bypass road ang Polo Riverwalk.
